Scree Games is an independent game studio. It is owned and operated by Dave Leary, an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience.

This website is also the home of the Scree Games blog, where I write about the game industry and my time working in it, along with design analysis and thoughts about games I like. I advocate for issues of concern to developers, including eliminating crunch, good project planning, building strong employee-focused labor organizations, and the promotion of genuine profit participation. 

The content on the blog reflects my own personal opinions and experiences. It does not reflect the positions or opinions of my employers or clients – past, present, or future – other than Scree Games.

Scree Games is available for consulting and contract work. Our focus is on production, narrative, and game design, but we also can assist your team with art management and art outsourcing.
